KAGOMEは「八角籠目文（はっかくかごめもん）」という代表的な江戸切子の文様が用いられており、八方すべての方角から幸運を引き寄せるという謂れのある形で、幸せを籠む文様です。文様（パターン）というものが、今の『江戸切子』を創り上げた重要な要素だと思うので、その文脈に沿って。でもSENA MISAWAらしいバランス、心地よさで、作りました。

The “KAGOME” design stems from the “Hakkaku Kagomemon” (octagonal reticulate pattern), which is a traditional pattern for Edo Kiriko: said to attract good luck from all eight directions and capture them. I believe that “Patterns” are what shaped Edo Kirko to what it is now, so I understnad the importance of following in those steps, but I also deicided to add SENA MISAWA’s unique balance and comfortableness to it.
